Zimbabwe and South Africa for 3 weeks around Christmas and I was able
to organize with my uncle and sister for me to fly down for a week
and surprise my parents. It was wonderful to see my parents, my
sister Amy and family I hadn’t seen in up to 6 years.
(all the cousins, my last day there)I would not have been able to have gone
without my amazing team! At one point I didn’t think I would be
able to go because I didn’t feel like I could ask my team to ride 4
hours with me to Entebbe to the airport and back because it would
take up a whole day for them and then another 2 would have to do it
again to come get me. But when they found out that was the only thing
in the way of me going they all willingly offered to go both ways
with me. So my team really blessed me and I was able to fly to
Johannesburg, South Africa from December 27th to January
2nd.
and Amy and my cousin picked me up and we went back to my uncles
house and slept and when we woke up in the morning Amy went out to
see where everyone was and they were all sitting at the dining room
table so I ran out and shouted surprise and my mom turned in her seat
and shouted my name. They were so surprised, I was so glad it was a
complete surprise! (Thank you Amy and Uncle Stew and Sarah!!!)

I had a great week in South Africa
spending time with family. And it was awesome to bring in the new
year with everyone like we used to when we were in Zimbabwe.
I love my family so much and I was so
blessed to see everyone!
